For Applicants working in the UK Healthcare System
If you would like to join the Catholic Medical Association (UK)
as a student or full member, you have checked your eligibility on
our home page and you agree to providing the contact details as per
the application form which can be downloaded and printed. Please
complete the form including the banker’s order section and send it
to our Registrar by post at the office address at the top of the
form. Joint members apply to married couples who each work in an
eligible healthcare profession.

For Existing International Applicants
Any existing international members who find the UK membership system practical and economical are very welcome to continue to do so. If you would prefer to switch to payment via our PayPal facility you are, of course, free to do so without reapplying as per the arrangements below. If you would update your contact details, including your current email address that would be appreciated. Your email and other details will never be shared with any other organisation and membership details are not accessible via the web site.
For New International Applicants
If you are a new international applicant who is eligible to join the CMA on grounds of your healthcare professional or pastoral qualification, or current studies, you are very welcome to join the Catholic Medical Association (UK). Please check your eligibility to join on our home page. Moral law and Catholic ethics are universal! However, please understand that the confidential support forums can be accessed only by those working in the UK healthcare system as advice needs to be relevant to UK law and clinical practice.
Then, please send a completed application form after detaching and destroying the banker’s order section and send the application from only to the address at the top of the form. Please include with your application form a brief signed confirmation letter on parish or chaplaincy headed paper from your parish priest, hospital chaplain or student chaplain confirming that you are a Catholic and believed to be a member of the healthcare profession you have stated on your application form. There is no need to approach your employer for such confirmation. The CMA is well aware that your Catholic faith may be a sensitive issue in some parts of the world where people regularly access our web site. An email will be sent on acceptance of your application to be a CMA member and requesting your subscription PayPal payment.

Outside the UK, please complete the CMQ only option on the application form and contact details and post it to our Registrar at the office address at the top of the form. The cost of postage will be calculated and an email sent back to you to check if you would still wish to proceed with your CMQ subscription via PayPal.
